Im starting to believe lj Listons Quote about coach flood always trying to be politically correct...I translate that to flood giving certain guys playing time just because they are veterans in the program. For example...why is a gimpy Paul james taking carriès away from hicks/martin? Let alone starting? A 75% PJ is not better than a healthy combo of martin/james...they looked great against psu (despite our poor o-lineman play) but they were constatly being subed out....These two alone can lead us to Victory if we Keep feeding them and allow them to get hot...
Last year, Kevin snyder played hurt all year....lj Liston Hits hard and flys to the ball...your telling me that à hobbled snyder is better than liston at 100%? Or why not put longa back in the middle and let tj taylor or jacobs play weakest side? Longa seems to play his best ball at mlb anyway...no, they wanted to keep snyder out there...
Laviano is obviously not as physically gîfted as rettig...Rettig is bigger, has a stronger arm etc...when Rettig played, he looked great...laviano has struggled when he's been asked to do more than throw swing passes to thé TE..when Rettig was in we saw the ball spread around to 4 or 5 different recievers...laviano seems to Lock in on one guy. Why not give Rettig à shot?
Just like last year...I think this team will figure its self out towards the end of the year...I just hope its not to late to get to a bowl game..
