It obviously sucks with Dylan out today, but today represents our last chance to string something together that’s quality enough to get within sniffing distance of an at-large bid. Unfortunately I think Michigan is an extremely tough matchup for us with their 2 exceptional 7 foot bigs. But if we somehow find a way today, I think Illinois is highly overrated (plus it’s at home). Maybe Dylan returns after Illinois and we have some gas left in the tank. But today’s game feels like the last big whopper to make a run before there’s just simply too many L’s on the resume.
Let’s hope the RAC is hopping and Ace understands he can’t do it solo today. We need efficiency from him today, and need the supporting cast (Martini, Derkack, Grant, Acuff) to play a ballgame. Let’s go, baby.
