Acc Basketball is Worse than their Football

Pitt is getting demolished
VaTech down big at home
Duke leads Auburn
Texas, NC St is close
Probably SEC 14-2 or 13-3.

Duke has three freshmen starting .
Duke is still strong, so far..... I previously wondered if the would have the Villanova dropoff after a legendary coach left

for nova, Wright left, and after going 30-8 in his final season, the 21-22 season, they followed that with
17-17 in 22-23
18-16 in 23-24, right after Jay left

And currently 5-4 for this season, which makes it look like it will not be a return to any glory year

We see Duke can still recruit like crazy, and talent like they have should always rise to the top, winding up with upper 20, near 30 win season

I watched the game yesterday, there seems to be no loss of passion or atmosphere

Let me guess.. all the ACC lacrosse teams were afraid to schedule Rutgers again?
UVA and Syracuse dropped the series or refused to renew it. Soft.

After we played Unc in the quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament there was some interest on their part Danowski being a Rutgers guy was willing to but dates couldn’t be had. FND

Thanks for asking!

UNC did lose to Bama. They’ll be fine.
Others… not so much. Lol

Yeah, the UNC game was 4 years ago. And all the other Big Ten schools seem to find dates that match up. Ohio State was 6-9 last year and managed to schedule Virginia and ND for this season. But Brian isn't interested in even playing 1 ACC school - just say that instead of carrying his water.

Those incredibly lame excuses are horse crap and you know it. Back to basketball!

UVA falling back down to earth after incredible run.
FSU was pretty good for awhile and doesnt seem to be now.
Larranaga getting old?

Wouldn’t write them off yet.
Clemson has been consistently good.
Pitt hasn’t been awful.

And NC State had wonderful run last year and despite metrics, analytics, and ratings, ACC does well in the Big Dance.

Conference supremacy in hoops is generally cyclical. For awhile, it was ACC and B1G, but now things have migrated to where the Big XII and the SEC are the best.

As an aside, it actually really annoys me that the SEC is now really good in basketball. They used to absolutely SUCK except for Kentucky and a couple of other teams occasionally. But now they have 6 of the top 12 teams in KenPom, and 8 of the top 25 in the AP poll. Can't they just stick to their football and leave basketball to the rest of us!?
