Given the immediate increase in the big ten 's money from our addition they should have agreed to give us full money sooner. Rarely does adding a team give such an immediate obvious boost to revenue.

Even if New Jersey fans don't watch Rutgers play, more of them are watching the Big Ten games instead of the ACC or even SEC.

Most of the quality recruits are going to the Big Ten but If we joined the ACC would have gone to the ACC.

We had a 50 million buy-in to BTN, it should not be at a discount. Again, many thanks to Maryland, couldn't have done it with out you!

According to BTN president Mark Silverman, the reconfiguration of other NCAA conferences has only served to heighten Rutgers' impact on the network-----this post should stay on top for all the RU doubters and those that want to believe the BIG regrets RU

After the new TV deals are done, what networks do you think will end up with the TV contracts--ABC/ESPN ? Fox/Fox Sports Networks(s)?, CBS/CBS Sports Network ? , NBC/NBC Sports Network ? TNT ? TBS ? Others ?

The buy in isn't a discount on revenue. It is the amount paid by Rutgers to buy an equity position in BTN. When Rutgers is fully bought in, we will own part of BTN equal to the other B10 schools.

Right now Rutgers receives a full share of revenue minus what we pay to buy BTN equity.
