Both games we got off to a slow start . We can’t afford to do that against a quality team , we can’t play from behind . With our running game we need to get a lead and keep a lead .I voted “did what they had to do” but concerned about some of the chunk plays we have given up on D and we still allow QBs to escape the pocket too much for gains. Good news is that we have a week off to watch film, clean things up and get some guys back.
Things I was pleased about: Athan, Kyle (of course) and Kenny Fletcher.
Yes - and they would be huge additions at this point.Somewhere between 2 and 3. Defense is concerning but hopefully Powell Dixon and Rainey are back for VT and we can get a better picture of where we are.

Agree with you about needing him to stay healthy all year to get to a bowl. When considered against the rest of the schedule, I think there was little to take away from the first two games. The level of competition just wasn’t close to comparable. And it’s unclear if VT will be all that competitive either.
From what I’ve seen so far, I think the team has a lot of improving to do before Washington comes to town. Also think that, if KM gets hurt, a bowl game could be difficult to achieve. His play makes life a lot easier on AK and the O line.
But, before everyone yells at me for being too pessimistic, I think the team has demonstrated good potential and can improve a ton over the next 3 weeks.
