Well, EJ has a pattern for 2016 and sticking with it. Like I figured 3 tall guards, and Thiam. Could've used a big man since we're thin next year with only two 5's.

Another guy that has grown in height (up to 10" depending on the source) the past four years. Looks like he's been playing the 4 or 5 this year for IMG judging by where he sets up on both sides of the ball in the video. On the banks thinks he is a project, while others feel he is very under-the-radar because he played at a school with very little exposure prior to this year. Already academically qualified as well as he already graduated from his high school last year. Rivals has him as 3 star. Says he's gonna wait til spring to decide despite Rutgers being his only P5 offer. Was being looked at only by DII schools last year. Prep year has really helped with his national exposure.

Another guy with length and long arms. Something that Rutgers has lacked for a long time, exceptions are Jack, Dane Miller in recent years...maybe Poole and Kone. Before that, Hamady, Lamizana. When I watch other teams they have a lot of guys with long arms, Rutgers....not so many.

I'm curious if @Russ Wood has any info on his ability and/or recruitment since Florida is his area.

Hopefully, Thiam is coming aboard too.

So with flexible freshman at SG, SF and PF, I'd put the 4th ship on a Juco or 5th year SG or even C.

I haven't seen Aleem Ford play because I don't usually watch post grad teams play unless there it is to see a player that Florida is recruiting, or the Publisher of another Rivals.com team site has asked me to do a write-up on a player on a post grad team.

I've asked around and the general consensus, from people I trust, is that Ford is coming on and has a chance to be a good D1 player. Where there is no consensus is at which level: High, Mid or Low Major.

The teammate of his that is hurt is five-star Jonathan Isaac, a 6-foot-9, 205 pound SF/PF.

Thanks for the input Russ. Long arms , makes shots and makes good moves towards the basket.

Can't think of a recent Rutgers players that could do these things at 6'7" and with long arms. Again, Dan Miller was a spotty shooter.

Body type looks just like Malachi Richardson from Syacuse.....length and long arms. Good looking shooter.

Of all the tape I have seen of Rutgers targets...I like this one the best. He would have no problem getting off an open shot and would close out nicely on shooters....instead of having 6'2 guards doing it. With all the spots open, maybe he remains a target. Obviously, he is open to coming north if he'll be NY this weekend.

He's a jersey kid that moved to Atlanta. Ran with the sports u program last year for the aau season. I've seen the kid play wouldn't hurt for the staff to follow up on a 6'7" shooter who's athletic also.

Possibly a shoes recruit?Shoes son really seems to still be representing Rutgers. For some reason, I think he stays and they are negotiating a contract. perhaps.

Kid was offered by Van and is a SportsU kid wouldn't mind having him in the program. 6'7" wing, can put it on the deck, athletic and can shoot the 3

Rather use the scholarship on some better players in '17. 2016 doesn't matter any more. The upcoming season is not going to be a good one anyway

2017 isn't as strong as a class as you believe nationally and even locally. Some of these guys we may land aren't really high major guys or have many things to work on but hey just my thoughts.

Nobody likes to see a friend get fired but no one with a shred of objectivity would say getting rid of a support staff member from a horrific team is a "mistake."
Wondering if you ever met the guy, or really had any idea how valuable an asset he was to literally EVERYTHING positive I was able to accomplish with the basketball program during the past 7 years...

No, wait, of course you don't, because you certainly don't know either of us well enough to be commenting...and you know it.
