All State team?

I don't know why but I thought The All State team would be in the Star Ledger today. They use to list in the upper right corner the days for all the individual sports. I know I saw winter track yesterday, swimming today and I believe wrestling and fencing were done also. Was hockey in already and did I miss any other winter sport? The Ledger use to have a complete separate section for basketball with All County teams for most of the state too. The last few years they have really cut back. All the newspapers have cut back in so many ways. Box scores for most sports are not even in the papers anymore.
Does anyone know what day the All State Basketball team will appear? I am hoping to see Matt Bullock on the team (hopefully first). If there are 3 teams as the Ledger had for years I am hoping that Linden sophomore, Tavon Jones makes one of the teams as well. I think last year I was surprised the basketball article was not in a Sunday paper. Maybe it will be in tomorrow or Tuesday.

The more I think about it I think Bullock will make second team. I believe Battle from St. Joe Metuchen, T.J. Gibbs of Seton Hall Prep and Mosely of St. Anthony's will be 3 guys for the First Team. St. Pat's and Roselle Catholic each have an outstanding center that could make one of the teams and Nelson of St. Augustine will probably make First Team as well. Teaneck has a really good kid too. The Ridge big guy (Murphy or Mahoney I think is his name) should make one of the teams as well. I think jones should make like the Third team but than again Phelps of Linden might get selected ahead of Jones. I always like to think who might make the All State teams.

If I could pick one uncommitted Jersey player based on need and potential it would be the 6'10 kid from St. Bens, Sidibe. Good size

great to see Bullock on there. Maybe this was prepared prior to the commit, but he was the only 1st team player where it didnt mention where he has committed...

Wow. I did pretty well. I picked 4 of the 5 guys on the first team All State. In my posting above I picked Battle, Gibbs, Mosley and Nelson and said I hoped Bullock would make it but said the more I thought about it I thought he would get second team. I thought Tavon Jones of Linden would make third team and he made second. I am very happy to see this.

I did pretty well too. I made a player on the 2nd team...different sport though.
