And the Ladies continue to win

Nebraska stinks but Rutgers scoring drought in the fourth quarter allowed them to tie the score. Happily Rutgers found a way to win which should put them in the top 25 rankings next week.

Has any team in any sport ever been 5-0 in the big ten? I doubt it.

Second in the B1G WBB standings is Indiana. They come to the RAC Thursday, Jan 31. Be there!

And also Purdue and ranked Michigan State this week.

This thread is stinky bait for the “CVS Must Go” crowd who have tired of having a Hall of Fame coach on the Rutgers payroll.

We get pretty good crowds relative to the rest of the B1G for WBB, maybe only behind Nebraska (till all their sports because there’s nothing else to do) and Maryland. But they can really draw even more, if you want to watch some great RU basketball and cheap tickets, get out there to the RAC!! 2 home games this week, Wednesday and Sunday I think. Get there !!

Nebraska's not great this year - but they did smoke Michigan by 14 at home, so they can be dangerous. Michigan's only other losses are to ranked teams and a 1 point loss on the road to Purdue. Can't really sleep on anyone, especially on their court.

It must be because there have been so many Hall of Fame coaches with 1,000 career wins in basketball at RU that it has become redundant.

Have not seen the women in person, but a mutual friend of mine and the best women's coach in the land said he was told " there were several (>3) reasons why they lost by 15+ at home to Gonzaga"......

But checking there schedule, I see they beat Maryland at MD on NYE by 8 !!
Down year for B10 in Women's hoops so the schedule won't help; but figure the next key game for a top 32 seed will be at home vs. MD on 2/10 for those that care.

Diamond Miller is interesting to me because Dad is Lance Miller who played with Murdoch at Bridgewater West.

Rankings come out this afternoon, but who knows where we will land.

No kidding, well isn't that interesting. Even sweeter since CVS was at Franklin gym when Brenda Frese slithered in. Then we beat them at their house when they were ranked #4, and undefeated a few weeks later.

I suggest you see her play. She will play in the WNBA. She is not a volume scorer either. She can score 30 a game if she wanted. Handle and vision like a pure point. Three point range beyond the line. Long and athletic. Unguardable.
Not sure if Lance played on same Murdoch team. His older brother Dave did. Dave got a Nova scholarship just to lure Lance in.

Tickets are not cheap. They are $20.00 with No General Admission option like in the past. It is a bummer.

Lance was on same championship team that beat Avent at the RAC. I was at the game because my best friend's sister dated someone on the team.

No disrespect to anyone having financial issues, or with a lot of expenses, but $20 to see a live sporting event is cheap.

Disagree

I pay $10 for NJIT mens games, and it's decent quality product. I would consider that cheap.

Womens hoops is financial loser for the school why put that burden on the fans?

Thanks for the assist about me being unreasonable about cost. I can get RU mens games cheaper at door or on alternate ticket provider. If women offered a more affordable ticket i would take kids to most games.

If you are or if you know a Federal Employee, don't forget, tickets are FREE for this Wednesday's girls game vs. Purdue and Friday;s guys game vs. Northwestern. Just show a Federal ID at the door and you get TWO FREE tickets. As for parking for guys games, no need to pay if you don't mind walking a bit (same goes for football).

Go online. They only sell 100 level tickets for $20.00. I have had similiar conversations on women's basketball blog. They used to sell upstairs for $10.00 as GA.

Can't really call it a "down year for B10 in women's hoops." Today's AP poll that had RU at #20 also had 5 other B1G teams in the Top 25. No other conference had more than 4. A couple of those conferences are top heavy (ACC, Pac12) while the B1G is very balanced. Every game is a war this year.

For some reason,it doesn't say what the ticket prices are for the single game 200 and 300 level tickets on the website. You might want to call the ticket office at 866-445-4678 Monday-Friday or email them at tickets@scarletknights.com.

For womens hoops this is expensive

Is this true...can we get a fact check on prices..
You might be right, I was just thinking of general sporting event prices. Honestly, if our women are this good (especially compared to our other teams) we should be able to pay $20. Maybe give a discount with families and kids
