The Hokies baseball team is using the cost-of-attendance money to put more athletes on scholarship instead of paying out the stipend proportionally to its current players. Tech has been able to go from 22 players on at least some part of a scholarship during last season up to 26. Interesting article with a lot of good information.

Has Rutgers adopted this approach?

At Tech, other programs, including the football, men's basketball, and men's and women's soccer programs all dole out the COA money proportionally.

We should look into this as I don't think we fully fund OOS schollies in some sports.

We definitely don't in men's lacrosse. It's a real handicap. Number 1 on the list of things to fix with the program.
