Ash had in-home visit with RU commit Solomon Manning

"Nice (big dude!)"

Ash was surprised by his size after seeing film

"He stayed a good while, about 35 minutes and answered all my parents' questions. He pretty much was introducing himself, telling us about himself, pretty much. It was good, he left a good impression for me and my family," Manning the 6-1, 210-pound senior told NJ.com. "He seemed like he knew what he was talking about. He had the experience. He was straight to the point. He was stern. He wasn't lackadaisical...He's serious but he seems like he can have fun at the same time. As a coach you have to be able to have that balance. It can't be all work and no play, and it can't be all play and no work. And he had that perfect balance. His visit made me look forward to getting out there and playing for him."

He also spoke about Ash's defensive plans, coach hires etc

Anyone see the tidbit in the news about the 2 Pitt assistants at the HNT all-area football team photo shoot? Kudos to them, no commit is solid until signed on the dotted line (well most of the time)
