Is the athletics dept line by line budget available to the public? Or even the balance sheet of 2014/2013?
I'm really curious to see where all the money is going which causes the high subsidy. We pay every single one of our coaches (Stringer the only exception) in the bottom half of the league. Our facilities are mostly ancient. It seems like recruiting expenses are lower comparatively as well. The big items which are known is the bond debt for HPSS expansion and all the money being paid to past terminated contracts (Rice, Pernetti, Hill? any others?)
I imagine the revenue side just isn't enough yet. I feel like our athletic dept needs to be spending more right now to make up for all the years that Killingsworth and his like got their wish and RU treated athletics like a Patriot league school.
