attendance

I dont know Shack...I would say they were 1/4 the place so if there was 48K there were 12K of them, if attendance was 42K maybe there was only 10K of them. Tons of white but they all were not wearing white so dont let that skew the eyes, saw many in blue as well.

overall its just a poor showing for Rutgers to not legit crack 50K for this game in its third year i the big 10

honestly if RU was 8-2 in the AAC they would be pulling in 45K a game too To crack 40K RU must now rely on the opposing teams fanbase

100% more obnoxious.

I had the opposite experience in Purple. Had two mixed tailgates right by me. All nice people. Funny that one couple parked next to me said they were both RU grads but they "had" to go meet up with their PSU daughter. Guy says "I guess we failed as parents somewhere along the line." Everyone laughed.

Yea but if Rutgers was in the AAC they wouldn't have dynamic pricing in place and selling tickets for over $100 a game.

Dynamic pricing is helping to keep opposing teams out of the stadium but it's also keeping the casual RU fan away and doesn't really seem to have convinced a lot of people to buy season tickets. I almost wish they did away with dynamic pricing because it's created a articial floor on some games, especially this last one.

How many fanbases come out to see a team with 2 wins? Given the way this season has gone I would say attendance was fantastic.

Indiana is having a pretty good season, have you seen the stands at their home games? 1/3 empty. I think the attendance was pretty good all things considered. Besides the bad record, the offense is really not fun to watch. At least with Grabers teams there was some offensive entertainment.

I think the 1/4 PSU fans is a bit high too by the way.

Agree with this. Without Dynamic pricing, even with the season we're having, I think this game sells out. The "casual fans" that are the difference between an ok attendance and a sell-out don't want to pay $100 per ticket.

How people were left in the stands at the start of the 4th? I could count them on my hand. No blame here, people did not want to get stuck in a potential winter mess.

I was very pleasantly surprised by RU's turnout considering how bad the season was. Bac very realistic but always a bit of a chicken little with all due respect

Agreed. I thought there were about 50K there, so the reported numbers sound about right to me. Thought PSU had about 10-11K there, which is similar to last time. Unfortunately, this game probably had 1K PSU fans and 1K RU fans at the end of the game - was so pissed off we let them score a couple at the end and cover the spread, especially since a few obnoxious meathead PSU fans kept screaming for them to score to cover the spread.

We had a large tailgate next to us in yellow, which was probably 75% PSU/25% RU fans, but they were very friendly, and so were we, since many of them were drunk girls of recent vintage.

I don't even know if some of you were at the game. It was full!! Easily 48-50 in seats at the game. Even corners of the uppers had people sitting in them. Each upper only seats 5K and they were full not empty.

Also I say 6-8 penn state no way they were near 12000

Agree. Google pics of OSU MSU game from last Saturday. Would have thought it was at the shoe.
