I'm attending the game this Saturday for the first time since I was a student. I'm going with my younger brother and it'll be his first game. I want him to be able to see the pre-game things like scarlet walk and senior day festivities. What time should we get to the stadium?

I'll be parking on Livingston campus. Do they still have a shuttle from the RAC to the stadium?

Thanks in advance!

Usually the Scarlet Walk is 2.5 hours before gametime. @MrsScrew would know exactly.

Definitely look at parking at the Greek church or parking in Johnson if it isn't affected by Thursday's rain.

I park on the streets near
Saint Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church
Free Parking.... 15-20 minute walk....
get right out toward 287 and never stuck in traffic.

I can't imagine you'll have a problem parking at Johnson Park at 8:30. I used to park there all the time, usually got there between 7 and 8 and was often in the first row of cars.

They like to say the Scarlet Walk is 2.5 hours before kickoff, but the team doesn't really show up until 2'15" before kick off

Boardwalk opens at 8am

Stadium opens at 10am

What time does parking get full at Johnson Park and St. George's? We'll probably arrive around 8:30
You can get a church parking pass online in advance assuring your spot there. Well worth it imo, short walk, and clean restrooms. Only downside is if you are turning left onto River Rd after the game, traffic backs up. If turning right easy out.

FYI Greg mentioned RU is recognizing the seniors on the Scarlett Walk this year not in the stadium. “Doing something a little different”

New military march (I mean hop)… “Ready March Right-Right-Right-Right-Right”

Sorry couldn’t resist 😉

yes. I got some of my best RU winter merch from that parking lot years ago. It works but there are better options noted above. The last few times I parked there I walked back to avoid the shuttle lines but they aren't that bad. I just prefer walking than standing around.
