Charlie Henry who was an assistant coach with Hoiberg at ISU and with the Bulls and is now the Bulls G League head coach is coming to NU as anassistantas well.

How and why? He was handed the keys to the best of everything to make NU a consistent team and to finish on the top half of the Big 10. Seven years was long enough to see it was going nowhere.
Thomas Allen transferring. Hoibergs only asset next year appears to be Roby presuming he stays or doesn’t declare for nba draft.
Sounding like Allen was basically told to pack his bags when he entered the transfer portal right after Miles got fired. Roby has declared for the draft without an agent and appears to be 50/50. Him and Hoiberg meet Friday one on one as do the rest of the players. Look for Nana Aketon to leave. It sounds like the commits will all remain that way. He has 3 open scholarships right now for this year so I would imagine he will be heavy into some transfers, especially if the commits all stick.
He had seven seasons, plenty of resources and support from his administration yet could not get to the tournament.
Heard some talk that Allen was gone even if Miles was retained.
I could agree with that. He always kinda acted like he wasn't thrilled about how things were going for him.
Edit. Sounds like a bidding battle has started for Henry. He may be heading elsewhere.
He is retaining one assistant from Miles staff it appears. Gates I think is his name. The other assistant may be one that is an assistant at Missouri.
Henry was offered as a part time assistant and then as a player development type and he wanted to be full assistant only so they parted company.
