The thread on whether or not to root for our B1G conference partners out of conference (particularly the Michigan/Utah game) got me wondering about how Rutgers fans would like to see the rest of the division finish in conference. Obviously we all want Rutgers to finish 1st in the division, so leave them out of it. How do you rank the other six teams in terms of where you want to see them finish? For me:
1 - Ohio State - tough call over the Spartans. I lean this way because someone's got to be the big dog for the league, but I don't necessarily want
2 - Michigan State - I could be persuaded to wish they were #1. I was never an Urban Meyer fan, even though he is a great coach.
3 - Indiana (???) - close call with Michigan in a way, as Michigan is a bigger recruiting threat but also a bigger national draw. I only want to see Indiana this high if we're still going to be ahead of them. Otherwise, drop them to #4 (or the first place behind us).
4 - Michigan - they can't all finish last. Big name program, so it's better for the league if they are not 2-6 or worse in conference every season.
5 - Maryland - can't stand Edsall, and more likely to be trying to recruit in the State of Rutgers.
6 - PSU - well, duh.
