Baker has a great game. I am sure he impacts the court this year with his hustle and scoring off the bench.

Looking forward to finally seeing a guard with some size... will be interesting to see how many minutes Geo will earn. Pike at last CC meeting emphasized the importance of guard play citing Minnesota successful guard play last year making them a force in the BIG. Pike sees guard play as a recipe for success so you need a # of solid guards. We lacked depth last year so we would be more solid this year.
Who wouldn't want to come here and play with this kid in the backcourt? He has a great ball handling skills and he can stop and pop the jumper. When you have another guard who can penetrate and not get his shot blocked it opens up the entire offense. Corey and Mike are going to have a field day with three guards on the court and I'm expecting Thiam to have a solid year as well. We need everyone to rebound and hit the offensive glass and we should be fine. Overall, the returning players know what to expect with conditioning and the new guys should fit right in. We are still probably 2 quality players short of where we need to be but those kids are going to sign up as they see year 2 of the Pikiell era.
