Was curious why the chinstraps are worn across the mouth instead of under the chin.

Linked to milatary tradition, bottom line chinstraps down by the neck can be used to choke you.

Seems like most of our teams at RU wear them lower, based on all the chokes I've seen over the years.

Got it. Only some are doing so I assumed the uniforms just didn't fit correctly. You would think they would all be doing the same thing that's why it's called a uniform.
