So baseball ended up decent! Middle of the pack big ten, very competitive.

I was thinking today how college baseball should go to divisions in the regular season and instead of a conference tournament have a division winner/wild card playoff system similar to MLB. Something about the incentive structure seems off right now.

I would venture I have been around this and supported RU baseball far far longer than most. Advantage is having Rutgers continue positive momentum. There was nothing in the post which was negative.

Do you know what is more strange? Your looking for issue with my post is utterly clear. Admit it you wanted a controversy for what? At this point the team doesn’t care who they play … the why is because they made it to this point. Get a life .

In fact I’ll go one step further in that Rutgers would relish knocking off a UCLA or Oregon. I believe we played Oregon already and played quite admirably. At this point advantage is arbitrary.

The old adage would apply then about curiosity “ blanked the cat”. My point was Rutgers lost Game 1 vs Oregon and Game 3 but somehow won game 2…anything can happen .This ain’t football.
