At the RAC, I believe the "Scarlet" lot is the only one that is the closer lot to the building (the other side is where they are building the practice facility). I have questions about this.

1) In a handicapped situation, can you park there without a pass? Or would they let you drop someone off closer to the building?

2) Is there a priority point total to be able to get a pass for that lot? It always seems empty to me.

Not sure of your question. The Scarlet Lot at the RAC is closed. That is where they are doing construction for the practice facility. Parking for the RAC is on the north side of the building, in the Green and Yellow lots. The Green lot is closer to the RAC, and requires a parking permit (the handicapped portion of the Green lot requires a Green pass and a handicapped placard). If you want to get a Green pass, you should call the Ticket office or your R Fund representative.

I have seen people coming into that lot...seems to be a super secret VIP lot, not many spaces but there are cars in there

Go in on the street by the Business School, not hospital road. I don't know the name. There is a street you can turn on to drive up the RAC. Tell the Security Guard you have to drop someone off who can't walk a long distance. They will let you drive up right to the building. Make the Drop off. Then go park in the general parking. After the game, do the same thing. If you do not, there is handicapped parking in the Yellow lot and you will be told, "they will send a golf cart for you".

To start, I guess I was wrong and was referring to the "green" lot by the RAC, which has continuous empty spots each game.

I wasn't aware of the dropoff option. That could be a good way to go. I wonder how many open spaces there are in green. I'll have to inquire with the ticket office.

I don't know about the continuous empty spots in the Green Lot, since we donated enough to buy a green pass, and for multiple games have shown up only to be told it is full and that we have to park in yellow anyway. For the lesser non conference games there were plenty of spots, but it has been full to capacity for B1G games and Seton Hall.
