I don't know what to think. You can't fire your head coach 2 days before the start of the season. Flood brought this on himself: I'm all for 2nd chances but this portrays the team as being undisciplined, Barnwell, really, Peele, what, this was his 3rd offense? Having Laviano & Caroo suspended for the 1st half. What is going on here? This all has to reflect on Flood and it's all negative. He's not going to change, he's a nice guy, family man, cares for his kids, you know what, in his position, he can't be everyone's friend. You got to have control, discipline, respect. Let's see what the team is made of, let's see if Flood can use this as motivation and bring the team closer, "Us Against the World"! He's got to change the culture, if your leaders, Caroo/Laviano, have to be suspended and now 5 other members will be kicked off the team, not sure what to think.

It's natural for team members to rally around one another when encountering adversity regardless of whether it comes from an issue that occurred on or off the field. It's time for the leaders to step up, it's time for the back-ups to shine, it's time for the team to unite as one, use all the latest adversity, let's see what the team is made of. Flood now has to win 9 games in one of the toughest schedule that RU has ever faced, but anything less and a change has to be made. One thing is clear now, either we are going to have a very successful season or we are going to have major changes next year, a 7-6 or even 8-5 is not going to cut it this year.
