Bernie Sanders @ Rutgers-NB

Well....hopefully they opened all the doors and aired the place out today. Damn good looking crowd, too, I might add.

:cool2:

These political rallies are scary.

Do they really have to scream and go nuts after every line he says (not just Bernie, but Trump, Hillary, etc). It's cult like...I don't get it.

Same could be said for football games

There's reason to cheer good plays in a football game.

People ate these rallys literally cheer after EVERY line. Just feel like he can say anything, and these people will still go nuts.

Yeah I've always felt this way. It's a really strange phenomenon. People treating a political speech like a sporting event is just flat out weird.

I support Bernie because he's the only candidate that will increase the velocity of money which will lead to middle class growth and economic growth. The economy is a dynamo, by feeding the bottom by taking from the top it'll make the dynamo run continuously.

People are sheep. Always will be. They are by nature very superficial Same people cheered for gladiator fights in ancient rome. Same people cheered for hitler and JFK and FDR.

However if you break down the various candidates policies and actually read through and research them, Bernie to me seems to be the best candidate presented. Do I agree with all of his policies? No. But he's the best out of the bunch and his policies are pointed in the right direction imo.

Do you really want to increase the velocity of money? With all the money created over the past 8 years,Argentina would be laughing at us if that were to occur.

I think it's remarkable that Bernie is getting all this great press. It was only a few decades ago that he shot all those little black kids in the subway.

Not remarkable at all for this state, he kinda fits the NJ liberal media profile.

Not the liberal media. Most of the liberal media supports Hillary, if you couldn't tell by all the biased reporting. The liberal media (CNN/MSNBC) care about big money and Bernie is bad for big money interests (at least in the short term) but good for the working and middle class (and big business in the long term).

BTW he called it Rutgizz like Mike Francesa does lol at 30:24 and 32:24

No sanders is just bad period for many reasons that I would not post on SK

If he wins, Rutgers will make a lot from the future growth of the middle class. Good investment.
Okay, but in the meantime, who's going to pay for the use of Rutgers facilities, the OT for the police personnel to usher your emperor and his minions through the streets of Livingston, the clean up of the trash they left, including several hundred "A Future to Believe In" placards and approximately 300 pounds of trash left under the solar panels of the parking lot?

Especially after they gave heard them a million x. I could smell the crowd through my computer.

Looks like his plan adds about 20 trillion to the debt.
No thank you.

We probably could use someone who's a little better at math.
We are headed there anyway. At least he is not the female version of satan.

Curious as to what Rutgers decision would be if Trump wanted to hold a rally here? The RAC would be too small, he would need HPSS. No doubt in my mind the answer would be Hell No!

Geeze, whadda they think this place is, Happy Valley?

Yes we don't need debt for Americans to college, we need it to build walls, expel Mexicans, ask people at the airport the last time they had bacon, and check anatomy before entering the bathroom- you know what the founders intended.

Public institutions, like Rutgers, cannot discriminate by viewpoint. They may only make rules as to time, place and manner. That's basic First Amendment law. And Rutgers can charge the Sanders campaign for the setup and cleanup.

FWIW, I've grown steadily less fond of Sanders as the campaign has gone on. He doesn't seem able to do more than repeat his talking points over and over again. And some of his positions make no sense to me,e.g. a ban on natural gas fracking would just keep deadly coal in use by utilities for longer.
