Betting line for RU-Minnesota not set yet due to Minn QB injury

Illinois' Chayce Crouch isn't the Fighting Illini's
regular starter ,Wes Lunt is , and led Illinois to victory over RU with Lunt out.

Don't know if Lunt being out affected the opening line of the RU -Illinois game but Crouch did start against Purdue so line probably was based on Lunt being out for the Rutgers game.

I think it will open slightly lower simply because the bookies will factor in fewer TOs for us. But if it opened -19 I wouldn't be surprised just because the perception is that we blow so bad that they need to give those kinds of points to get people to bet.

I'd say -17 with an asterisk stating with the normal qb it would've been 21+. This is another don't get blown out game. I can see Minn scoring 35+ and maybe we can score a few times too.

Nobody around here wants to hear it, but their likely starting QB, Conor Rhoda, had ZERO offers out of college, walked on to Minnesota in 2013, and just earned a scholarship this spring.

I wanna hear it too, but I will feel even worse if we lose to a walk-on QB. I'd like to think this game is winnable, but I just don't know.

Sadly,Rutgers has a history of making unknown opposing quarterbacks all americans .
