This is a tough one. Like throwing darts at a wall.
I think its easier to envision some certain teams at the top and at the bottom but there are always a few curve balls every year. Protecting home court and being able to pick off a few wins on the road...whoever is the most proficient at that will win the league.
It would be a shame if Oregon/UCLA win the outright Big 10 title in their first season but that is what I think is going to happen. Lean toward UCLA here. Oregon started hot but lets see if the grind of the conference wears them down a bit and brings them back down to earth. Illinois looks the part of a team that will challenge for the conference title. Willard has done a very good job with a very talented Maryland team but how tested are they. Do not write off Purdue but this is not the same program from the last few years with quite a few chinks in their armor. Michigan State is off to a very good start for a change and will be tough. Wisconsin was hot early but coming down to earth and they already dropped a home game. Michigan looks like the biggest surprise of the year but they are for real.
1. UCLA
2. Illinois
3. Michigan
4. Maryland
5. Michigan State
6. Oregon
7. Purdue
8. Wisconsin
9. Ohio State
10. Iowa
11. Rutgers
12. Nebraska
13. Penn State
14. Northwestern
15. Indiana
16. USC
17. Washington
18. Minnesota
its likely that the many positions will be tied or seperated by just a game. Insanely bulky unwieldly...tough to get used to not only the Big 10 being large but the additional schools now in the Big 12, SEC, and ACC
