its been a while. I would assume there was a big game that had some meaning at some point in the Rice years but this might be the biggest game since RU played St Joes in the NIT and not sure how big that was since Waters was out the door.
The ND monday night win was actually the previous year. We played ND about a week after the Cincy loss and lost to ND on the final play when Eli got called for a charge which was BSYup beat ND on a Monday night at home but kinda tanked after that. We did win at Seton Hall in what turned out to be rice's last regular season game.
Winning is the only thing that matters in sports especially against a local rival who competes for the same NJ recruits.This is only a big game if we win.
If we lose, it is just an expected loss.
