I know some fans hate blackouts. I like them and I think for football they are awesome. They would be great at the RAC except for a lack of a full house and disinterested fanbase will not participate in this at 100% level, more like 50%. The lower 100 level across from the players cant even bother to where Rutgers stuff half the time, so don't expect them to wear black

But the biggest problem with making Iowa a blackout game is that Iowa's colors are yellow and black so you are just going to make it seem like an Iowa home game as their fans will be wearing either yellow and black. Therefore you have a mix of black, yellow, scarlet and button down blue shirts. Why why why wouldn't RU marketing pick a game where the opposing teams color does not consist of black...which by the why is every other school in the Big 10 besides Iowa and Purdue...oops

I am not going to wear either Black or Gold to the Iowa game.....sorry

the incompetence runs right down through the marketing department, whoever thought of this idea on a night where yellow and black fans will be in the building should lose their jobs

Your PR must be the same we have at Iowa, couple of years ago we had red pom poms in the seats for a home game against Wisconsin

The best marketing tool right now would be to act as if the program does not exist. If no one sees these bad games, maybe no one will notice.

Yea, it seems we did that last game for our friends from Purdue. We're on the same page as you guys.
