OK, started packing up the tailgate gear yesterday after a disappointing season. Hard to adjust to a December where we are not planning a trip and all the associated work of making reservations, etc. Miss all the chatter on the boards and anticipation of traveling and meeting other RU fans in places far, far away. So Mrs. G said how about we go to the local bowl, New Era Pinstripe Bowl, and make a day of it in the city.
Segway back to Ford Stadium last December 26th and that experience, which was great. We were amazed by the number of other B1G fans from other schools attending the game. We ran into a Michigan guy at the tailgate and questioned him about the number of other B1G fans there. He said that is what they do despite popular belief, they support their own conference when they can. And there were allot of them. Sounds good to us. Duke at 7-5 and Indiana at 6-6 should be a competitive and entertaining game. Going to check on Seastreak to see if they have a boat going to the game from Highlands. We would definitely sign up if the TD club put something together. Combatting withdrawal on the jersey shore. :flushed:
