A fight at a night college football game isn't exactly surprising. No big deal. Oh, and, it was a "Walmart Michigan" fan who started it all. Go figure.

I was in section 103 until the 4th qtr. and did not see anything like this. 103 was stripe not red btw.
Worst I heard from Michigan fans was, "Stop the fight. Stop the fight." Sarcastically, the one on the field.

Fights are common at CFB games in the SEC.
Ive seen a few at RU games too over the years.

I know it was a 78-0 blowout. But i dont think that the Detroit Free Press wouldve done a better job advertising Michigan to the NJ recruits the way nj.vom did in this link. Sheesh.

So that's why websites like this can easily be found regarding PSU's Beaver Stadium arrests. I can't find a similar for a RU.

Not for nothing, Ive been to 5 Rutgers games in the last 3 years. Maybe Ive been so GD lucky that I havent seen one fight in the stands, during the pregame outsidr the stadium, on the shuttle to/from train station, not even in the train station. I can say that Sh** happens everywhere at anytime.

BTW, does this include fights involving PSU players?

100% pure bullshit. Just because you didn't see a fight, doesn't mean there wasn't any, especially when you have 105,000 or so people in such a small area who, for the most part, have been drinking.

I'm in 103 and saw nothing, but I sit down low. 103 was a black section also so maybe they got in section wrong in the story.

Just remember when PSU was collecting money for the sexually abused because of Sandusky, they only raised a meager 22k out of "friendly" confines of Happy Valley. There's 106K in the stands and you couldn't even get a dollar per person. That's the definition of classless.

You should see sunday's bergen record....huge front page of sports with 2 articles and then an entire page 6 dedicated to it...didnt get that much when we beat Michigan two years ago in 1st Big Ten game ever!

And then to top of it that little toolbag Darren Cooper that holds Partridges jock strap writes an article wich is basically a negative pitch about going to RU....unreal that gets printed in the home newspaper...said this "Aside from being the birthplace of college football, Rutgers does not have the same inherent draw for recruits that a big college power does. With multiple campuses spaced out, the lack of a central hub hurts its image."
