The BTN plus is only good if you are looking to watch non televised games. Anything on BTN or other television networks will not be part of it. There will be no football games and only a handful of basketball games. Unless your a fan of one of the minor sports your not going to get a whole lot of content.
The quality of the content varies as much of it is student produced. So commentators will be students. Some do a great job while others is down right bad. I have seen students who are better than ESPN commentators and others who don't even know the sports rules. Also don't expect ESPN qualify to video as many venues simply lack the facilities. I seen some shots that appeared as if the highest angle was from a step stool. Lighting can also be an issue due to facilities and cameras used. The indoor events tend to be better.
As far as league pass vs school pass it pretty simple. Are you likely going to watch other schools matches. If your a huge wrestling fan and just appreciate any match then go for league pass. If your a big Rutgers fan of any sport then your better off getting the school pass.
