BTNPlus

On a computer or mobile device.

I sign up for a month once in a while, especially during soccer and baseball season...

I watch on my laptop that I hook to my tv!
Or Ipad!
Love it for wrestling season. I can watch every BIG10 dual, plus all rounds of the BIG10 Championships.

On a related thought -- do any smart TV's have (decent) web browsers? It seems like anything I watch on my computer I should be able to watch on a Smart TV. But I'm not a smart as my TV, so I could be wrong...

Do you watch on TV or is it only on mobile device?
Be careful how you sign up. I went to the app on my iPad to sign up for the RU v PU wrestling match. I was unable to watch on my tv. BTN told me it doesn't work with roku which I find hard to believe and that I could only watch on the iPad. I could not even register because I already have a registration with BTN free site. (I was told). It took me an hour of chat time with them and they finally told me to call apple and cancel my subscription and re-register on the BTN website....what a mess. Apple finally gave me a refund and I have not signed up. It is a 1 1/2 star app. Just saying... I like the premise but execution is difficult. I missed the wrestling match.

Why you can't watch on Rolu is beyond me, why even offer the app on Roku?

A $10 HDMI cord from your laptop to any TV manufactured in last 10 years or so let's you watch anything on your computer onto your TV.
With a 'Smart' TV you don't even need that cord. Just change your settings for the smart TV to pick up the signal on your laptop.

Do a you tube search if need more help.

Agreed and have posted in the past about this. It is like watching early ESPN3. The feed is often grainy and it often freezes. Sometimes the audio doesn't match the video unless you relaunch, and then you may have to do it again next time it freezes.

ESPN finally got it right with WatchESPN but it took them a bunch of years, and likely tens of millions of dollars worth of new servers. BTN2Go has a ways to go to catch up.

Yeah, same problems. Video quality is often not good and drops to "loading" screen regularly. WatchESPN definitely better, though I find the video quality is in and out on that, too, at least on live games.

I dropped BTN when I recently cut the cable cord and went with FireTV, Amazon Prime programming, and Sling TV. Got real tired of BTN's near exclusive exhuberant focus on OSU and UM, and to lesser extent, PSU and UW. That focus is understandable, of course, given the winning programs. It's just not for me. As for picking up B1G programming on an app, I might look into it per RU BB coverage. TBD.
