Anyone know if they're doing the $20 parking in Buccleuch Park across the river again this year? Whats the policy as far as grills/small tailgates/etc go? Thanks.

$20 to park now for ' litter removal and park maintenance' ? I don't remember litter being a problem. Most people used the garbage cans. It's a New Brunswick city park , if i were a resident of the city I would be pissed that they are now charging to park in the park . New Brunswick probably gets some open space funds for this park , so any nj taxpayer should have a right to use it .
Do they charge the tennis players and joggers because they might 'litter' ?

Spoken like a true cheapskate. Open up your wallet every once and awhile and let it get some air.

If you get there early enough you don't pay. Same thing with Johnson Park. Actually if you park further down you never pay at Johnson Park.

Now i know why this guy was banned . I have no problem paying the $20 if it's used for what it says it will be . Now go crawl back in your hole .

Really??? You complain about paying for cheap parking and you question what the money is used for. Step it up and support Rutgers and park in a Rutgers lot where it benefits Rutgers.
What a tool.

Obviously you are trolling. It was obvious why I was banned because I took a stance against the people who administrate the board. I wasn't wrong about their bias. And was proved right when I was banned for over a month.
Again suck it up and support Rutgers or at the very least NB for providing cheap parking. The town needs the money and you are crazy to think any space should be free. Travel to other Big Ten teams and you will realize we have the cheapest parking compared to many others

Who said I wasn't 'sucking it up ' ? I have a parking pass through Rutgers . I was just asking why the city of New Brunswick was charging people to park in a public park for 'littering and maintenance ' . Now I see why you were banned . You assumed something you had no clue about lol

Wow. You really don't get it!

what are the chances any of that $$ ends up where it should be?
LOL, this is New Jersey, why do you even ask? But fine, I'll answer. Approximately 0% it ends up where it should be. I'm sure the Town officials will have a nice little party with it as it makes it's way to some general fund of some sort where they have some discretionary spending authority.

Wow I hope this guy is banned again . He must be a city of nb employee .
So you are ok with paying Rutgers charging for parking. You are ok with Johnson Park charging for parking. You are ok with The church charging for parking but you have a bug up your ass about NB charging for parking. I should be banned again for arguing with stupid people. And BTW I live and work in PA.

What's the best entrance good getting a good spot and exiting after the game? I usually go to the church after exiting 18 cuz I don't want to make a turn toward the park and have to go back across the river.

Go down Landing Lane. Make the right up into the park and find the closest parking spot. No problem getting out. Many exits in the park

Just another Jersey "Juicing." The elected officials of this state love to squeeze money out of you whenever they get the opportunity. And just because everyone else is bending you over a barrel doesn't mean you have to approve of latest character bending you over that barrel. Next is a toll to cross the damn bridge to the stadium.

Thanks. Is it easier to hop off 18 before the river onto George and make the right onto landing lane?

Very little. Any parking authority in a small city that becomes a de-facto landlord of grocery stores/transit housing, is in debt for $250 million plus, and has little managerial oversight has serious issues to begin with.

http://newbrunswicktoday.com/articl...ority-has-almost-quarter-billion-dollars-debt

Then again, I'd rather just continue parking for free at my (secret) spot a little earlier than usual, or pay Rutgers for a spot if I need one.

White Bus hasn't been the same since he forgot Greinke pitched for the Dodgers.

I have parked in bucceluch in the past. It was one of those great 'secret' spots. Now that my tailgates have locked to the Piscataway side I don't utilize it anymore . But it was a nice low key tailgate spot with sandwiches and beer . Looks like they outlawed the beer.
