Us fans are constantly being told our NIL situation is poor.
We had a top #3 basketball recruiting class
We currently have a top #10 football recruiting class.
Yes, I’m aware we are nowhere near the big boys (Ohio state, Michigan etc..). But I just have a tough time believing our NIL situation is that bad with these type of recruiting classes.
Do relationships and the right fit matter to recruits? Of course. But they aren’t coming here with at least some type of good NIL situation.
So where is the money coming from? Are the collectives really doing that well? Or is Greg and Pike working their magic behind the scenes with big time donors?
