I don't often agree with Charlie Creme, but his argument to allow teams with thin records (because of Covid-protocol postponements and cancellations) to have an extra week to re-schedule more of those games makes sense to me. He uses RU as a prime example.

As for we RU fans though, it depends on how much faith we have in the team going forward. We missed 5 games against ranked opponents; but have only 1 game against a ranked opponent left on our original schedule. That's beneficial.
But, if we believe we have more of last night's win against a ranked team in us, more make-up games would be great. Getting those ranked-team wins and no tournament at all would be better for us for NCAA seeding than a weaker remaining SOS and an early BTN tournament loss against a MD or a Michigan.
I doubt Creme's argument is going to fly; but it is certainly a particularly interesting idea to RUWBB and its fans.
