Chester, NJ's Sonny Abramson, a redshirt freshman UVA QB, has left the program. Rutgers offered him as a freshman QB at Pope John XIII HS, Sparta, NJ.

Guess the kid did not live up to his Freshman "prodigy" hype.

UVa notes from linked story:
Virginia’s quarterback depth shrank considerably with the losses of Zanders and Abramson. UVA has only three quarterbacks for the coming season: Benkert, redshirt freshman Devante Cross, and incoming freshman Lindell Stone.

With McGovern, Virginia is projected to have 16 offensive linemen this fall. But it’s completely fair to question how many of those 16 players are ready to contribute at an ACC level. Fans will recall Kurt Benkert running for his life for most of 2016, as offensive line play was a major hindrance.

Mendenhall also said rising sophomore quarterback Sonny Abramson has left the program but will remain enrolled at the university.

Gandolfini lunching at Tewksbury Inn, and picking up sandwiches at Oldwick General Store.
Ex-politico Harrison Williams, multiple times, early mornings, at the great, long ago Chester Bakery.
Jim Breuer at Chester Bagel.

And once upon a time also home to one of my favorite places.....Larison's Turkey Farm.

Perfect Sunday in the 80's....Pancake Breakfast at Ralston FD, hit the Chester Flea Market, browse the shops, and finish it off with ice cream at Taylors.

Not to hijack much but the world's greatest chocolate pudding can be found at the Chester Diner.

I grew up in near by Hackettstown, while I know all the food joints (Public House, Chester Diner, Larisons) the more 'fun' spots at night were:
The Gypsy in Long Valley ( Kinderhook Creek and Blue Sparks from Hell).
Bernies Hillside Lounge in Chester
Schoolies Mountain Inn

how do they serve it? warm? Cold? skin or no-skin.. etc. Gonna put that on the list of things with which to break this low carb diet for my next break.

Chester Diner has gone down hill in recent years IMO.... but not sure where that leaves the status of the Chocolate Pudding but I'll pick some up for you and Cranford for the next game we're all at.

Say it ain't so - we used to go hiking at Hacklebarney state park when our son was younger and on occasion we'd stop in at Larison's. Always liked that place.

Wow, you've apparently executed the most effective thread hijacking since the Tre Timbers huge head thread, which, iirc didn't start out as a thread on that. Congratuations.

Lol, no, never saw a bobcat or even heard of someone seeing one. But not too far away , in Califon, was a farm that had exotic animals that were rented out to do TV commercials and appear in movies. So I am wondering if They had a bobcat that escaped and became rabid after not being caught. On Memorial Day for years we would tube down the Musconetcong river from Warren County into Morris County And look to the left and we would see this farm with giraffes , elephants etc. very bizarre. Of course we were pretty buzzed lol. Huge kegger on Storybook Farm afterwards.

Some follow-up on Abrahamson's status at UVA -- "Abramson wasn't likely to ever see much playing time".

https://accsports.com/acc-news/football/reevaluating-uva-football-qb-situation/

New coach, new system, new plans. Abramson's stay amounted to a Bronco Mendenhall tryout. Mendenhall lands a signature QB of his own, and Abramson moves on and UVA frees up a scholarship. Big boy football ... UVA will be thin at the QB position and the roster has more "Mendenhall" players.
