McDaniels will join veteran NFL head coach John Fox in Chicago. The Bears went 6-10 last season in Fox's first campaign with the team.

I heard Fridge wouldn't return if McDaniels was kept on our staff. He was and Fridge said Sayonara. Probably the worst decision Flood ever made in his career.

Lane Kiffin had a pretty good track record as the OC at USC. That's much more of a track record than McDaniels has.

He was a CO-OC with Sarkisian for two years with Sarkisian earning the distinction of assistant Head coach so Carrol had him running the show in that USC offense. Plus how hard could it have been to run what Norm Chow architected there, I mean Leinart, Bush, White, Jarret, Smith all future pros could probably have ran that offense on their own.
