One thing I would like to see more of is current players using the CHOP more in on field celebrations. Seeing Russo
use the CHOP at the skills competition reminded me of this same thought I and a few years ago. I remember when Eric Foster made a big play in the backfield, without hesitation, he would almost always go to an enthusiastic chop celebration. This always sent the crowd and his teammates wild. I would really love to see more of this. The CHOP was on the verge of becoming like the Gator Chomp, Hook em' Horns, etc.
It would be nice to see an RB cross the goal line and CHOP when the camera gives him a close up or see Kemoko record a sack and pop up chopping. Using the CHOP is more than celebrating the play you just made. It's that player celebrating/acknowledging wanting to make that play in a Rutgers uniform. It's a special connection to fans and alumni.
This is not a complaint. Just something I hope changes in the near future.
