Watching the Rose Bowl and became curious as to why Chris Fowler sounded like a shill for Penn State...It was funny how he seemed to live and die with every play which resulted in success...Actually was creaming his pants on several plays...Should have suspected the obvious ... graduated from Colorado...grew up in Illinois and where else ? ... State College Pennsylvania where his father , Knox , was a theater professor...that just adds insult to injury... P.S.U. getting calls is one thing...but having a real live homer on the broadcast is just not right... Fowler was thrilled when USC missed that last FG attempt...Chris ...you can get off your knees ....it's half-time.

This is why you should watch these games with the sound off.
Obvious on the Penn State "juggled" TD. The guy was still juggling the ball when his left foot hit the out of bounds line. Yet, this clown is stating how his right foot was down first, and it was clearly a TD. The idiots in the replay booth must have heard him because they agreed.
The guy clearly did not have possession until after he left the field of play!

Fowler was saying it looked like he didn't have possession until out of bounds. Herbstreit and the officiating dude in the booth were calling it a good catch.
Are you saying that I'm agreeing with Fowler!? OK then, I guess Herbstreit the Penn State homer is the "idiot."
I am not picking up any bias from fowler...but the refs missed the opi on gesickis catch and the godwin catch should not have counted.
