He had one more year left of eligibility.Could he have came back ? Big loss . He’s a stud . One of my favorite and best players during these bad times.
Good luck Christian !
New England bound. Another great secondary player developed by Schiano.
He'll be the same height next year. Highly productive & healthy career.Hope he doesn’t sign with an Agent.
Love the guy but he is not getting drafted. Too short.
Free agent look if he wants or come back to RU.
He's already been in college 5 years. Not everyone needs to be in college into their 30s. Time to move on and get ready for the pros.Wish him the best but he would be even more of a monster if he came back. Think he could be garnering all B 10 and some national accolades. The guy is aflat out good college player.
"Hi Mr. Izien, I'm Bill. You may be familiar with Rutgers players doing well at the Patriots. . . . "

In fairness, Ash and Bill Busch took a chance on a 2-star prospect with no other P5 Offers. He was pretty much a star from his freshman year in 2019.Waiting for Shelby65's comment.

His commitment thread was mostly positive, but a few boobirds:
***Christian Izien commits to Rutgers***
Class of 2018 & Erasmus Hall (NY) ATH Christian Izien commits to Rutgers. My story is here.rutgers.forums.rivals.com
Interesting what Kessawn Abraham told Izien about Rutgers--I believe in giving credit where credit is due--while Ash bombed overall, he did some things right, and he did not leave an empty cupboard (except at OL):
“I’ve talked to Kessawn about Rutgers. He's told me things like how the school is very committed to getting you there, especially once they offer you. Also, the staff and players are always in contact with each other. I plan on taking my official visit to Rutgers sometime after the season is over.”
True, but he was destined to be a star and an NFL prospect. He arguably had one of his best season freshman year. Not taking anything away from anyone. Glad he came to Rutgers.A fair point, but who had him for the last 3 seasons?
Hope he doesn’t sign with an Agent.

Just needs to show good 40 speed on proday.

4-8 ? How many times are we playing Wagner ?Disappointing but can't blame him. If had any shot at the NFL, I wouldn't come back for one more 4-8 season. Especially with as many snaps as the D plays. Good luck man. We'll be rooting for you.
