Cliff šŸ¤£

#1 Heā€™s probably at or near the top of the entire country in FG % if you go by his limited number of attempts.
#2 Heā€™s still the quickest dunker Iā€™ve ever seen. Amazing athleticism and quickness.
#3 Overall, Bama is using him well this year and heā€™s an important piece (not top 4 piece but still important) in a top 10 team that presumably will at least be in the sweet 16.

Outside of game RU played Bama have not watched Cliff but if heā€™s the 8th or 9th offensive option in rotation then heā€™s on the right roster. His offensive game is limited and one dimensional. Regardless, really happy for him on cashing in on his defensive strengths with a team thatā€™s not reliant on his limited offensive skills.

National analyst scorching him for his rebounding in this loss

Do you make a thread for every good / efficient game heā€™s had this season?

I must have missed those threads.
Actually I did comment a couple of games ago, seemed like he made strides and was developing away from Pike, turns out I was mistaken, as he gets 1 rebound in a critical game.
Rebounding is all effort and heart (especially when you are 7ft) it seems Cliff continues to struggle with both as well as IQ.
I am glad he left as watching his low bball IQ and lack of heart and effort was difficult, unenjoyable from a basketball fan perspective.

1 rebound, 16 minutes foul trouble.
I guess you didnā€™t want to post his stats against Auburn last week where he was 7-7 with 15 points and crucial for their win. You seem like an agenda driven poster ( Like you think Cliff was no good ) , but have zero clue about his role this year at Alabama. They had 3-4 centers and still spent 1.5 million to get him because he is a rim protector and a dunking machine. But Oates system he only plays maybe 15-20 minutes a game. Gets subbed in and out all game long after 6-7 possessions because of their depth. So citing a stupid stat where Alabama got blown out because Florida guards destroyed them ,is one of the dumbest posts one can make. But that is you the guy with the agenda.

In the meantime ,if Cliff and Mag came back , we would be dancing and wouldnā€™t have to read your silly agenda driven posts. Try to get that concept , I know it is hard for you but try.

Alabama is loaded. They have 2 other players as tall as Cliff, a frosh and a soph, who are in the rotation with him. Alabama lost the game yesterday when Cliff was on the bench for most of the second half.

I donā€™t get Cliff hate. At the time, he was a highly rated recruit, who chose Rutgers by the way. Then he busts his butt for us, along with others he then helps revive the program and get us back to the NCAA tourney. Was Cliff the #1 figure in helping us turn it around? No, but he played a big role. Good person and great representative of the school. Nothing but good things to say about him. We all know he has limitations in his game (lack of post game, offensive skills, etc.) but there are some great things he can do at the rim on both ends of the floor with his explosive quickness. That was dearly missed this year. Nothing but the best of luck to Cliff as he is an easy guy to root for.

Cliff hitting free throws at almost 70% this year. Whatā€™s up with that!

Did Cliff take any 3 pointers at Alabama?
Im curious whether Oats permitted him to do so

The more in think about it, its a pretty disingenuous OP. Cliff may not have played well yesterday (I only watched 5 minutes of it, so no idea), but he was best or 2nd best rebounder on that team, behind maybe Diabate. Pretty poor to try and criticize.

Bummer he needed to see reality to realize grass not always greener. Yes got some cash but likely some would have been here and if he accepted his role this year would have been way different and he may be one to always be coming back as a n RU legend.

He got cash and got to play at another school. He might be having a blast. Having experiences in life is a good thing

If we had the hungry, sophomore or junior Cliff, that would have made a huge difference this year
