When he says he's honored to be the coach at Rutgers, it speaks to his character. I really think that he's in it for the long haul (assuming he's successful) and sees this as a dream job.
RU has given him a terrific practice facility and he knows he has a great home court advantage (that hasn't been fully tapped yet). I think he knows that there is a chance to do something very special here.
