Coaches Poll

That tells you a lot about what they think of Pike and know how tough our team is to play. That toughness was on full display on Saturday in all its glory. Duplicate that atmosphere for all BIG 10 games, which is harder for weeknight games, and we will be hard to beat at the RAC.

Because the coaches know; our only two losses we were shorthanded; lets see how we do Thursday night that will be a great barometer a top 25 team away from the RAC(yes to me it will always be the RAC)
We have never won there Would be a major accomplishment

Wonder why? It really isn’t that rough of a road venue like Purdue Or Wisconsin . We have really shot terribly there but cannot figure out why. I also do not think they are such a good team and definitely not a great team so I expect a competitive game . We have to bring our toughness on the road.

Well the game 2 years ago we got hosed with the refs . That was the one game the refs really changed.
Was that borowski ?

Thanks Carino couldn’t give us 1 vote in the AP poll just write all yo ur articles about us finally being full strength and kicking #10 butt and then leave 6-3 Creighton in at #20 … need NJ media on our side someday.

Take care of the buckeyes like I think we can and will on Thursday….then get on a home winning steak …think a nice Christmas present ranking of #23 will be there in two weeks

One at a time though….

Rutgers must win some games on the road before they will get top 25 consideration.
It will come, in my opinion. Injuries or not, the losses need to be overcome with victories (and Miami is on the verge of being ranked, that will help).

Go Rutgers...

I think differently. Rutgers went into the Temple and Miami games shorthand. Having two key figures back in the lineup made the difference against Indiana. If we can display a strong defense again, I like our chances.
This. We had our chances to win those games when we were short-handed. The good news is that 3 of our newcomers got some road battle experience, where they had to do more than anticipated, and we almost pulled it off.

Now we go on the road again, more confident and at full strength. Pike and coaches have to get our guys ready to play hard without being over-confident. We’ll have gotten enough rest, so we need 40 minutes of intensity and contributions from the bench.

You're severely underestimating the impact of Caleb and Paul

We would be undefeated with them healthy all year, then your point is non-existent
Scangg, it appears you guys are in agreement, no?

Yes, single handedly took Myles out of the game
Almost like the refs took Cliff out of the game at home on Sunday when they called 2 fouls on Cliff in like 30 seconds; Of course I rewatched and Trace-Jackson traveled both times before the fouls were called

Love the fact we won despite that. Quite a team victory!
