5.4 2-star recruit listed as a dt when recruited to Colorado.

A graduate of Cherry Creek High School, Zilinskas started the first nine games of this season at center.
Through the first eight games for the Buffs (9-4), Zilinskas played 97% of the offense snaps (544 of 563). He had some snap issues at Arizona, though, and was replaced late in the game by freshman walk-on Cash Cleveland.
In Week 9 at Texas Tech, Zilinskas had a bad snap on the first play and was replaced by Cleveland after just six plays. Cleveland took over the position the rest of the season.
Zilinskas played a total of three snaps in the last four games combined, seeing the field late in a 52-0 win against Oklahoma State.
Overall, Zilinskas played the fourth-most snaps (553) among CU offensive linemen this season

Easy move for him. Lost the starting job in/after game 9 when he had some issues with snaps.

Apparently he was scapegoated due to snap difficulties between him and the golden boy QB when golden boy was changing the play at the LOS.

But what the “smelly” stuff

If this is in reference to the tweet posted above, this is my understanding:

Colorado had snapping issues throughout the season. Hank was benched under the assumption he was the root cause of those issues. The replacement center continued to have the same issues after Hank's benching, suggesting that the issue wasn't necessarily with the center, but with the guy sitting under center.

The short story is that Hank was basically the fall guy for a Shedeur Sanders issue. And it's presumably why he decided to say adios to Boulder.

I so don't want my Giants to draft this Sanders guy.

All positive except for “ if we want to take the next step as a program he’s a level we need to recruit over anyways”. Hope he can work out his issues.
I mean, TBF the next step from a 9-win team is playoffs or national title contention. It’s hardly negative to say he should’ve remained the starter on a 9-win bowl team (and presumably imply he’s the best they currently have) but add to contend for a natty they need to recruit better than this 2-star player that they developed into what he is today; ie, land a 3 or 4 star they can develop into an even BETTER veteran.

agreed... cause you would have PRIME, commenting publicly all the time on what the GIANTS did wrong with his son each week... similar to the lamelo and lonzo ball father La Var fiasco drama
