Congrats to Ajani Sheppard

I can't wait until next season when we call all yell to put this guy in, instead of all the other QBs we have on the roster.

I mean, he'll be the new Kid, so he's gotta be the best, right?
The fan base will have turned him into Patrick Mahomes by the time the B1G schedule starts. He'll have sucked up all the fairy dust that's been poured on Wimsatt by then.

Was he on Channel 11 this year on Thanksgiving against New Rochelle?

He’ll throw a TD against Wagner and he’ll be a legend at RU…….until the next freshman QB comes in. Sam Brown had a great game against Indiana and he is the next superstar.

It’s a team sport. More than just the QB and the OC. Our QBs would look a lot better playing for Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State. And Buffalo?

The answer for RU at QB is always the one that's not actually playing. Once they actually play, they aren't the answer anymore.

Both above statements are true. Right now.

Hayden Fry’s Iowa did not become “Iowa” until he got his Chuck Long. And I am not saying this kid is that, hardly. Gavin might not be the guy either. But we’ll see.

Iona Prep vs. New Rochelle at 11am. Followed by “March of the Wooden Soldiers” in B/W. 🙂

As a little kid in the 70’s I thought that was the coolest thing…HS football on TV.
Ok cool. I have evolved to watch games on YouTube and ESPN+ and the Premier League on The Cock.

Here’s his last HS Game vs St Anthony. One has to wonder why would you play your starting QB the whole game while losing 50-20???

Iona and Stepinac are two of best teams in NY outside of the city
They play a much better schedule than the public schools (beat Boscoe last year)

Yep.. watched that game every year growing up as a kid in Westchester County.
Think Marty Glickman called the games.

I remember Spencer Ross in the 80s. As a kid, wondered why they just showed the same two High Schools every year and not Bayonne versus Marist. Then as I got older figured that the WPIX producers of this game probably lived in Scarsdale or Bronxville. Lol.

Always looked forward to watching March of the Wooden Soldiers afterward.

GO RU
