Thought I would start a thread on cool Rutgers football (or RU related football) memorabilia posters may have collected, or saved, from way back when. I just purchased this Elongated Penny (also called a pressed, smashed or mashed penny). Most likely it was made in one of those Penny Presser machines you occasionally see and manufactured back around 1968 but most likely in 1969 or even 1970. Apparently, the die casts don't hold up too long so this may be one of, perhaps, 200 created back then before the presser plate degraded. This is about 3/4th the size of your thumb.
