I noted this in the game thread but I thought it needed its own.

Take a guess how many 3-pointers Sanders made in B1G road games?

Scroll down to see the answer.

One.

He was 1-for-3 from beyond the arc at Minnesota, our first B1G game of the season.

He was 0-for-22 In RU's remaining eight B1G road games.

I love watching the young man play, but that is simply abysmal. When your best player (a guard!) only makes one from long range on the road during the course of a conference season, it's easy to see why winning away from the RAC is a pipe dream for us.

Conference games:
Away stat line: 32.2 min, 10.4 pts (.302 FG%, .366 2P%, .040 3P%, .680 FT%), 3.4 rb, 2.6 ast, 1.3 stl, 2.7 to, 0.96 ast/to, 1.7 pf
Home stat line: 35.9 min, 18.0 pts (.399 FG%, .402 2P%, .385 3P%, .774 FT%), 4.8 rb, 3.3 ast, 0.6 stl, 1.5 to, 2.20 ast/to, 0.8 pf

This is downright unbelievable.

How many did he make in Home B1G games? He's not exactly a prolific three point shooter at home either.

I knew about that 1 3pt made....but the rest is mind blowing (then again..not).

Steaks are much better on the road

Like a thief in the night...

The deeper fans dig into stats clearly show the reasons why the losing continues unabated .Sadly, knowing the reasons why doesn't change what happens on the court.Changing the roster dramatically is the only way out of the abyss.

How do you think this stat influences NBA scouts, Corey's annual pilgrimage to be drafted and his chances of returning to RU for his degree / last year ....or becoming the king of street ball in some country / location TBD?

This stat and the other stats posted in this thread speak for themselves. The likelihood of an NBA career for Corey is as likely as RU being a consistent winner on the road.

my money is heavy on Corey coming back....chance to play with some better help. And that will help him.

I wonder if it would be better if he moves on for Rutgers. You know what you get from him and most night's that leads to a loss against any kind of decent competition. Maybe it's better to distribute his shot's around to other's next year?

We just had several threads on this - you even posted in one of them. We will be better with him than without him.
