Below are average COA payments per certain varsity athletes (some funding all full scholarship athletes, some not), plus noted $$ are averages as some pay less for in-state student-athletes).

Good stuff. You guys are paying $4,944 which is pretty good when compared to the A5 schools. Rutgers is paying $4,900, which is the 2nd highest number in the Big Ten. (Nothwestern is not listed)
 
Schools like Alabama are already manipulating the system...because months ago, Auburn announced their COA was going to be over $1,000 more than Bamas....The Tide just increased the amount for transportation by 75% so that their COA was basically identical to Auburn's.

Look for manipulating like this to be the norm in coming years...and for HUGE one year increase spikes as the race to offer at/near the highest payouts will be a sprint.
