Creighton at SHU

It's been a fun watch. I'm amazed we controlled the entire game @ Seton Hall, no leads and 3 ties, the last one being 17-17.

Creighton is the best “mid-major” team in the country. Well coached and can shoot the basketball. They’ve gone cold shooting now and it may cost them in this 3OT.

Sha going with a Richmond iso on every play. Hasn’t worked lately

Tough loss. Felt like they should have kept pedal down when they were up 5 early in the 3rd OT

AgreedWTF Mid-Major?!?! They play in the Big East
I put it in quotes. They play mid-major basketball…good movement on offense and sniper-like shooting. One dude is like 96% from the FT line….
I like how people lose their minds when the see the term mid-major.😂
Got hot again shooting late and won.

I saw the end of double OT through the end. Two thoughts...

1 - I also felt the refs did SHU no favors with the quick touch foul at the end of double OT costing SHU a point after they ended up missing a FT, plus the offensive foul on Dawes.

2 - I guess I don't think of SHU as our rival, as I was rooting for them to win. How about that!

Incredible game and also one of the worst officiated games I have seen in a long time.
Seton Hall appears much tougher than when we played them.
Were you not at Nebraska game. Not sure how breakaway dunk and foul was not intentional.

The refs were terrible both ways for the 2nd half and all of the overtime. A few key calls went against Seton Hall but Kalkbrenner was fouled hard late with no call and Ashworth was fouled on the tying bucket at the end of the 2nd OT and he was molested bringing the ball up with no call. As I said, one of the worst officiated games I can remember.

All you need to know is this…….they played 55 minutes total, nearly 3 halves, and a TOTAL OF 14 FOULS WERE CALLED ON CREIGHTON!!! Are you kidding me, and Seton Hall was not just chucking 3s and taking jump shots. They were getting the ball in the paint and only 14 fouls…….terrible job.

Seton Hall got screwed out of a win?

He pushed off.

They got the benefit of some bad calls. Davis from SHU at end of 1st overtime with a clear push on put back. A clear foul on 2 SHU players on Creighton big man at end of regulation.
He used her s chicken wing all game including the shot to put it into the first OT. Exactly why he finally got called.
Creighton guard got mauled end of first OT (or second) no call. They weren't screwed.

You simply cannot count fouls and use that as the logic. End of regulation before the Hall fouled on purpose it was like 4 fouls each. The post game between the two teams was totally different.

One of the networks that does college basketball should let a couple of fans officiate a game from their living room LazyBoys. It would be great, and Manning-esque. We could probably suggest a few folks from this board to give the whistle to.

I never said SHU got screwed. My point was they got away with some fouls.
