Looking back last year...our kicking game was okay on paper, but was really really shaky live
First, the long snapping was a disaster last year. Bilmonte really baiked out a lot of questionable snaps on place kicks and the long snapping was really slow getting back. Took Wisconsin to figure out that we were slow getting it off and got one. We really were a blocked punt waiting to happen last year and with a year of games watched by our confrence coaching opponents, expect the block to be on and we better be ready
Then....the punters really kicked a lot of medicore punts that got the benefit of the roll
Finally...i am hoping Federico puts it together. His percentage was better but the ball never seems to come off his foot the same from kick to kick which has me a nervous wreck. Hoping he finds consistency in senior year. Some consistent long snapping would help
