I was thinking this morning. The best thing that could have happened to ED was not getting the fall on the first throw. If he did, it can be chalked up (even in his own head) as a fluke pin. Doing it twice shows him (and the team) there are no flukes when you train right.

I agree overall that it is a confidence building match.
Hayes was totally gassed at the end. He knew the second throw was coming, because Deluca tried it and then had to tighten his grip and then he successfully hit it again. Hayes still couldnt do anything to stop it.
