Britton holds on for 9-7...4 takedowns, but did not ride well so McGill got 5 escapes including down position escape plus one takedown. Britton ride was not strong on McGill

Britton gives up escape, overshoots and gives up takedown. ref calls potentially dangerous for no reason and stops britton's near reversal. Britton loses 6-4.
 
Britton got screwed. Loses 6-4. Britton was about to reverse the other guy and they called a stalemate.
 
his knee was not the issue here. he is a top guy in a top state, but that is different than being the top guy. he will definitely need a redshirt year and unlikely started until soph/junior year. But that is not so bad for a top 15 ranked team. not everyone is a superstar.

Exactly, see him as a potential Willie Scott/Pete Lipari type. Starter potential and can fill in where needed.
