With Cviv as your coach and our facilities which are probably the nicest in the nation for women’s basketball (or at least top-5), along with staying “home”, there’s no reason not to!! Make the move Diamond!!

Hopefully former Philly phenom Kahleah Copper is helping put on a hard sell!

I know SC coach Dawn Staley is also a PG from Philly, but they just signed a top 5 PG in Zia Cooke (who's a freshmen for them now). Know less about the ACC schools (except that NC St is a fine program), but KK is graduating this year, she could join a backcourt with Alexis/Zippy/Noga/Joyia!

As you say, NC State is doing quite well, Wes Moore their coach was the coach of Chattanooga in that horrible NCAA game years ago. Virginia hasn't been doing well, under .500 last year, but they are coached by Tina Thompson, and I think have some upside. Boston College has a youngish coach that had some success in 2 years at Albany before going to BC last year, where they were also under .500; like you, I can't say I know much about them.

Of course, when players select schools their are always multiple considerations.

I lived in Columbia and have been to all Five schools. Everyone is different, but the only school and town I would put ahead of us is Virginia. BC is a nice campus but too close to Boston. I was at NC State and nothing that great. I was there before the Centennial campus opened so I am not taking that into consideration. Parts of Raleigh were crappy when I was there in the mid 90s. While I enjoyed living in the beautiful state of South Carolina, the campus is an urban one. Parts of Columbia are pretty bad with lots of drugs and crime. Not what I expected when I first moved down. Lots of other schools in SC with nicer campuses—Clemson, Furman, Wofford, Coastal Carolina, and South Carolina at Aiken.

Columbia is a bigger New Brunswick with some palm trees and barbecue.Since Brother Jimmy's left we have neither.

Like I said, everyone is different. The rest of SC is beautiful. Caesar’s Head State Park was my favorite spot, up in the northwest corner of the state.

Although I never spent time on the BC campus - I rather liked what I saw of it and the rest of the Boston "semi-burbs" - I did spend 2 or 3 work-weeks a year in the area, and as much as I dislike Boston sports teams, and wouldn't want to live in the weather - I actually liked the whole Greater Boston area.

Nothing else you said disagrees with what I either have seen or heard, except I must say that Rutgers itself is an acquired taste. I have seen all the enormous changes (we drove around there a few years ago), but I find it difficult to rank New Brunswick as all that great, campus notwithstanding.

I am not a city person, so I usually look at Rutgers from a Piscataway perspective. One of the things that makes Rutgers so unique is that for kids looking for the cows and piggies, you have Cook. For kids that want an urban feel, you have College Avenue. At Busch and Livingston, you have a more open air suburban environment. And at Douglass, we have a women’s residential campus. I doubt there are too many universities in the country that offer all this.

What a monster class this has turned out to be. I think the post players we signed are better than their rankings.

I have known RC67 and his wife since I was a wee lad. They bleed lady hoopster red. At every game . Through good times and bad. Just as I wish success for BK118 on the mens side I do the same here for them. Seeing them at a final 4 would be a joy for them and those who know them.. Go RU.

Something for everyone. I always thought it could be a huge advantage.

Couldn't have said it better. Welcome to RU, Diamond... the university that has it all!

It would be unreal to see c viv win a championship here. The press would be glowing

I believe this is RU's most highly rated recruit out of HS since Tyler Scaife. What a get, and what a class, for the CVS and the entire coaching staff.

Next year's back court of Arella/Morris/Zippy/Noga/Maddox/Diamond is looking pretty great (would not be surprised to see three of these players on court at same time).
